Thymagen
Also known as Glu-Asp-Gly, thymic tripeptide bioregulator
Thymagen is a tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Gly) thymic bioregulator from Khavinson's series. It targets thymic epithelial cells to restore T-cell differentiation and normalize immune function. Distinct from Thymulin (FTS) and Thymalin, it is a shorter synthetic peptide designed to mimic the organ-specific bioregulatory signal of the thymus. Particularly useful for immune aging and immunosenescence.
How it works
Tripeptide that penetrates thymic epithelial cell nuclei and interacts with chromatin, normalizing gene expression in thymus tissue. Stimulates production of thymic hormones and promotes T-cell precursor differentiation into mature T-cells. Similar mechanism to Thymosin Alpha-1 but via epigenetic regulation.
Benefits
- Restores thymic epithelial cell function
- Improves T-cell differentiation and maturation
- Enhances immune response to infections
- Reduces immunosenescence (immune aging)
- Supports immune recovery after illness or stress
- May reduce autoimmune dysregulation
