Semax is a synthetic ACTH analog developed in Russia with powerful neuroprotective and cognitive enhancing effects. It significantly upregulates BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) — sometimes described as giving the effects of intense exercise on the brain.
How it works
Fragment of ACTH that activates melanocortin receptors (MC4R) in the CNS. Upregulates BDNF and NGF expression, enhances dopaminergic and serotonergic transmission, and protects against oxidative neuronal damage.
