KPV
Also known as Lys-Pro-Val, α-MSH tripeptide
KPV is a tripeptide derived from the C-terminal sequence of alpha-MSH. It's gaining significant attention for its potent anti-inflammatory effects in the gut — particularly for IBD, Crohn's, and ulcerative colitis — as well as skin inflammation.
How it works
Binds melanocortin receptors (MC1R, MC3R) to inhibit NF-κB activation and reduce pro-inflammatory cytokine production (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α). Shows gut-specific uptake via PepT1 transporter.

- Potent gut anti-inflammatory — IBD, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis
- Skin anti-inflammatory — eczema, psoriasis, wound healing
- Systemically reduces inflammation
